Anhuradapura (riding a bike)

Discover the sacred and ruinous city of Anuradhapura. Monuments, gardens, enormous trees are waiting for you. Perhaps the monastic ruins at Abhayagiri Dagoba will make you fall in love of this country.




We always recommend traveler to visit this place because of its ancient buddhist rock carvings from the 10th century. You will discover the meaning of Buduruwalaga and is secret hidden in this stones. Ver recommended for bird watching.







Galle is a Unesco world heritage site. The arrival of portuguese Lorezo da Almeida in 1505 changed completely the history of this island. The portuguese occupation left a mixture of cultures with colonial buildings, Moorish families, museums, etc. You will enjoy ceylon tea and coconut juice.



Kandy and Esala Perahera Festival

  •  About the festival:

July-August: Do not miss this festival if you come in july or august to our island. Choose to live the Kandy Esala perahera festival with the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha kept at the Dalada maligawa or Temple of the Tooth.

  • The Knuckles Mountain Range (Kandy)

The Knuckles Mountain Range is situated in the earth of Sri Lanka, in the districts of Matale and Kandy. The massif looks like the knuckles of clenched fist when viewed from a certain point of view.


In June Olson pots is second in importance and commemorates the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka in 247 BC. Visit the mountain mihintale and its 1840 steps to pay homage to thus historical event.

Pinnawela, elefants orphanage


Polonnaruwa became Sri Lanka’s royal medieval capital in 1073 until the 13th century. That’s why you can visit this place and enjoy palaces, monasteries, and temples that show you the architecture of this island. Polonnaruwa is known for its sculptures of Lord Buddha at the Gal Vihara. Can you imagine an entire sculpture consisting of four colossal statues of Buddha cut into rock? We recommend you to visit the Polonnaruwa Archeological Museum in order to learn a lot about the Polonnaruwa kingdom. 


Ritigala Mountain

¿Are you prepared for adventure? You can have a shot trek at the Ritigala Mountain to discover a 2500 years old jungle monastery. discover ruins with lots of ancient palaces, stone baths and meditation platforms and also … an Ayurveda hospital! 



Sigiriya or Sinhagiri is an old rock fortressThis historical place is archaeologically relevant for being dominated by a huge column of rock, nearly 200 metres or 660 ft high. It seems that King Kasyapa built his palace on the top of this rock and made built a gateway decorated with an enormous lion. That is the name of this place that is derived from this structure: Sīhāgiri, the Lion Rock.


Sinharaja rainforest

Sinharaja rainforest is located in the southwest corner of the island. It is a biodiversity hotspot and has been named a World Heritage site by UNESCO & a Biosphere Reserve. 

This ancient rainforest is teeming with many endemic species of trees, insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. Sinharaja Rainforest is the last surviving stretch of virgin rainforest in Sri Lanka.

Trekking through this forest could be compared to taking journey back in time and reconnecting with nature. The cacophony of sound created by gushing waterfalls, gurgling streams, ants marching, and leaves rustling creates a distinct atmosphere.

Sinharaja is renowned for endemic birds. There are 140 bird species seen here during a calendar year including 34 out of 37 species endemic to Sri Lanka.


Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak)


The adems peak season lasta from December until Sri Lanka New Year (mid-April) in Sri Lanka. Buddhists, Hindus,  Muslims and Christians share the asension of the 2234m mountain to a temple that conserves the footprint of the Buddha,  lord shiva or Adam according to the differing beliefs…
